New Haven County Bar Association Welcomes Historic President

The New Haven County Bar Association proudly welcomes Elwyn Brewster Quirk as the first black female president in the organization’s history. Quirk’s appointment marks a significant milestone for the association, highlighting both its rich legacy and its commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Elwyn Brewster Quirk is an accomplished attorney based in Meriden, Connecticut. She has owned and operated her own practice, Law Office of E.B. Quirk, LLC, for nearly 15 years. Her practice primarily focuses on residential real estate closings and probate-related matters, serving clients with dedication and expertise.

Quirk has been a valued member of the New Haven County Bar Association since 2007. She has chaired the Meriden-Wallingford-Cheshire section of the Association, where she was instrumental in promoting events and activities for association members in the northern areas of New Haven County.
